I'm gonna have to hire someone soon to just hold my ego inflated head up...
lol. Quality beats price!
Be prepared for him to attempt to extract more in service and general annoying requests to feel like he got even for you making him pay that much.
Forgive my cynicism.....I've had this dance with such customers too often.
^^^^and get a card number before you start work
I couldn't get him in next week so now he has to go elsewhere...
The place was probably Nasrat nasty anyway.
Man will he be sorry.
50/50 he calls and wants on the schedule when you have room.
He just seems like someone that can't believe a Carpet Cleaner is on his level.
Get this with Lawyers and Doctors but not Dentists.
How did you know, are you bugging my phones
Pretty sneaky Ron..... I know Mikey HATES that saying from ‘the other board’.... very tactful....
There's another board?
Funniest comment all week, lol
I love those moments.
Why Santa invented multi jetted wands.
The two inner jets spray scotchguard don't you know.
Next time, just say sure, no problem. By the way, you don't mind if the carpets are 30 percent less clean do ya?
Cant figure out if they're politicians who want to be carpet cleaners or carpet cleaners who want to be politicians?
My dad use to say...
“I don’t compete with their prices, and they don’t compete with my quality”
... now I say it. Thanks Dad!
just had a customer last week. Actually was a tenant for a high end duplex where the owner only has me clean the carpet. Even on the phone he said my price was high. When I got there he asked why I was better than Stanley Steemer. After awhile I learned that he frequently moved and always had Stanley do his carpet. I didn't have 45 minutes to explain all the reasons why I was different and don't even remember what I said as it caught me offguard. after I was finished he told me that if he was staying in town, I would definitely be his cleaner of choice.
This happens all the time with new customers. Sometimes you just gotta show people.
Most of the time, people who use the large franchises end up paying more in the long run, after the sales tech gets through with them.
Just finished a job where the old girl was shocked to see me prespray.. your not just spraying stuff around and calling it clean are ya!?
When I explained it was 3rd step of 6 step clean she broke out in big smile and said most just bring hoses in and get to it
