They pulled a whole page ad out in the newspaper and it clearly states their alkaline cleaning solution is a 12 PH and their acid is like a 2 or 3. Does the IICRC or carpet manufactures have an issue with the high PH? I always thought the protector got removed after 10 or 10.5.

No wonder they claim their cleaning solution out cleans most...

more so than the IICRC is the yarn manufactures, don't want to see a cleaning solution of more than 10.0 used on residential nylon carpet, because it breaks down the protectant, can loosen dyes, and in some situations can actuelly damage the fiber.
