1. How's the metal head as far as seams etc. The word (not sure how accurate it is) was that it is too aggressive.
2. Do you use the Trex mostly on glue down or regularly at homes as well?

We use the Trex pretty much exclusively on residential.
This is going to sound weird but I find the Trex cleans more aggressively yet is less aggressive on seems. I can't tell you why. It seems the Trex doesent want to twist a loose carpet as much as the 360i yet it spreads open the face fibers better for a deeper clean.

When I bought my SS570 and hoss the distributor had a floor model or a used trex he said he bought a bunch ended up sending them back said they werent that good to many problems. I was like glad I didnt try one.

I agree, I don't care who makes it. Most things don't work flawless right outta the gate. Just look at truck mounts, it takes years to work bugs out.
