No, your feet stay dry. They've been pre sprayed and stepped in puddles (and soaked in the bathtub for a minute each) and they shed the water like a duck.

Haha! They sound good in theory and I love the fact they are waterproof but from the outside appearance they look uncomfortable. But I must assume that since you like them they are actually be good? I'm so tired of paying around $140 every 6 months for new sneakers, which I have to do because of my back. How long do these shoes typically last? And if I were to try them, will I have to wear dress clothes to work as well?

It's the soles that wear out quick, and as soon as they start wearing, the knee, leg and back pain starts getting even worse...
The rest holds up well...

Soles from chemical deterioration or are u talking inside the shoe?

No, just in general, from constant walking etc...the soles start to wear on the outside faster because of pronation, I'm sure, and they just lose their shock absorbency quick. I usually buy the Nike Shock or Nike Air. I also need a higher heel than most shoes...if I wear shoes that are flat, it kills my back. That's why I get the Nike Shocks because they have a raised heel.

I've been using Rockport's for a couple of decades for carpet cleaning.
No other brand has served me as well.
They are...
Durable.
Comfortable.
Reasonably priced.
And they look professional.

What's not to like?
