How do I get there?
By car, Carson Valley is served by US Highway 395, which runs north and south through the center of the valley; US Hwy 50, which runs east and west and meets 395 at the north end of Carson Valley and SR 88, which enters the valley from Alpine County, California.
By air, Carson Valley is served by the Minden Tahoe Airport, a non towered general aviation airport, and commercially by Reno Tahoe International Airport, located approximately 40 miles away.

What’s the weather like?
Carson Valley enjoys four distinct seasons, with average daytime high temperatures ranging from the low 90’s in July to the upper 40’s in January. At approximately 4500 feet above sea level, nighttime lows cool down considerably, to the mid 40’s in July and the teens in January. Average annual precipitation is around 10-11 inches, with the bulk of that falling as snow between November and March each year.
