With help from Bruce Parson's we recently cut down a Prochem Ti Wand in hopes of creating the best stair tool.

It's a step in the right direction.

What's your, favourite stair tool, and why ?

Roto-Vac StairPro. Name says it all.

How does it clean the edge & risers??

Personally, I use a combination which may include my Oreck with bonnet, Hos Orbot Micro with brushes & my old, straight, 40" wand.

What I use depends on the job I'm doing.

This was a spare wand, we had cut down.

It has since been cleaned up before it was put back in service :)

For all the inventors and manufacturers who read this board, time to invent the best stair tool, as we all need them …

I have a idea, but have to get the wand finished 100 % as far as production goes, once that is done, I will put my heart and focus into it.
I have been messing around a little bit but I just don't have the time to really go all at it as yet. I think in the next few months things will be getting a little smoother and I can start to focus on it.
I hate ALL stair tools...... some I just hate much less, the double S bend swivel is very sweet but it still SUCKS 100% for the riser.....Like I said I have a idea but it is gonna take some REAL FOCUS

Where is Saiger and the beautiful swivel tool he uses? Looks like a great wand that he had custom made.

They'd be out of business if they listened to people with tin foil hats.......

I have one of those custom made Saiger swivel stair wands. It's much better than anything I've ever used, but it's still not perfect. The jet extenders cause the jets to be too close on the risers.

Proof that someone will bitch about anything.... Maybe if someone came out with a tool that cleans stairs themselves..........Oh wait, it's called Bradley....:winky:

I don't know why you guys are getting off on the swivel being on a stair tool. I tried it, and returned that P.O.S. a week later. That was the biggest nuisance trying to keep that swivel straight. It's easier to spin it around, pulling it up the face of the stairs while I'm walking up than messing with that swivel.

So...since you didn't ask, my dream stair tool would be: 1.75tube with 2" hose fitting, 36" long, 10" head with 2, 3flow jets, and a straight tube, not s bend

And your dream setup is a Trailer Setup....:stir:

The swivel is a POS in it's stock form... Did you try it with a Glide on it and 2 jet setup? I believe it's a better tool with Saiger's setup..
