I'm more than convinced that tickets will sell out for this Mikey's Fest. This is a good thing because I want my events small and personal. Attendees and Vendors alike say they get more out of the "show" this way. I hesitate to call it a show when "Family Get Together" is the feeling that people leave with.
Due to the size of the Ronald McDonald Homes, I have to limit the cleaning crew size at 125. We had 70ish in St Pete and that was enough. The homes in Phoenix are larger and the parking situation is much better so I'll take the risk.
Once the 125 quota is met in ticket sales, I'll open up another 25 for those who are willing to just attended the education and hotel cleaning demo days on Friday and Saturday, as well as the afternoon pool party on Thursday.
So,, the first round of tickets will be made available to speakers, helpers, vendors who plan on helping in the RMHomes and Mikey'S Fest alumni.
The next round will be made available to the wonderfully world of Facebook. When these go on sale do not hesitate as they will go quick.
Those that bought in the first round but know that they either can't make it in time to the RMH or feel that they won't be much help and would like to see someone else have the opportunity, will be able to take their early bird ticket with someone in the last round of 25 either here on MB or on the Mikey's Fest FB group page.
I hope to have or Hotel venue settled by mid next week and ticket sales up in a week or two so stay very tuned!
