Come on guys...let's look at the pro's vs the cons.

The swivel is a whole lot better than pmf's stair swivel.

I’ll give you guys a weeks head start on super specials. So the first week of June. Working on several 40-50% off deals on stuff you use like the brass angle valve and new stuff like this and working on the new stain kit from legends at a killer deal too

Don't care for the shield or the swivel. I love their valves.
Do they plan on making a ridged non-geeked version? :shifty:

What's wrong with the PMF stair tool swivel?

I just replaced all the fittings and hose on that tool, and the swivel is still going strong after 30 years of heavy use.

It’s too flimsy. I couldnt push the darn thing in a straight line

When we got the sharks they have the swivel head and I thought I'd hate it and I did. But now I like it.

Looks to have potential for commercial staircases. 10 inch width gives you good coverage. On most of my commercial stairs, I am using a larger, longer tool than I use in residential. Hoping the lexan is temporary. Be nice to have it made in titanium.

The problem with the PMF swivel stair tool is that the 1 1/2 tube narrows down to 1 inch at the swivel.
Choking off airflow.

Actually only on the version made more for a portable.

The other is straight 1.5 inch (the one I use)

I didn't know there was a different version until recently seeing a couple as you describe... I didn't like them as well either

I have the old one. It screams like a Spider monkey in heat due to the restriction but still cleans well
