Took the 14/2 out to clean a empty community rm at the base.

Felt like i was driving a 1967 Cadillac in comparison to my new VW Bus...

Strange how we get use to things and actions...

Last week we used the 12 1.5 for a couple days. Drying was an issue on one job but it sure was faster and easier.
Switched back to the 14 2 and it was amazing how much drier it leaves the carpet.

The 14/2 auction coming soon?
'67 Caddies fetch a good coin.

So how long did the carpets take to dry with the 12 compared to the 14? How did you do the testing?

No difference in drying here, just production in large rooms.

Small furnished room i think the 12 is a hair faster due to agility

OK so I got a question that (may) be pertinent here

Got an old Prochem 3 jet 1.5" tube 6 flow wand - no glide and slots are close to each other so it gives off this high pitched whine.

Also have a Prochem Quad 4 jet 2" tube 8 flow wand (hate 1.5 jets that clog) - no glides and the slots are wide apart so you don't hear that vacuum whoosh

both are about 11" wide

Assuming I am using the same TM and cleaning/dry strokes, which will produce the best cleaning results and fastest drying times?

Also I have been using the 3 jet 6 flow like forever because it is so light so if I switch to the Quad at 8 flow would I notice much difference in water usage?

Would that pulverize carpets using 24 flow?

25% more water usage, some offset by potentially better extraction with the 2 inch wand.

:headscratch:
This sounds like the question, what weighs more: 1,000 pound of feathers or 1,000 pound of Marshmellows?
