I don’t know any other word to put in that statement. Maybe “unexpected” which is in relation to that word. I didn’t know you were a 5th grade English teacher also

See now, the last sentence was a good illustration of irony....

The 5th grade teacher in me would prefer “ I didn’t realize you were a 5th grade teacher as well.”

You southerners speak like you write

It would be ironic if a man with diabetes got run over by a truck carrying a frieght load of insulins.

I could see a cimex being faster in relatively open areas (I've never used one) but think I'd hate it around cubicles etc where 175 is very moveable

Dan, I've been cleaning cubicles with the Cimex for over 15 years & do find it a lot easier than using a rotary.
The rotary caused me many back & leg problems in the past.
The Cimex has not caused any, plus I'm only taking one machine into the building.
I organise all of the cubicles prior to cleaning.
As I clean each cubicle, it's an easy matter to put the chair back into the correct position while still using the Cimex.
Although I have a GEM (Argonaut), Oreck, Sprayborg & the Cimex, the Cimex is my "go to" machine on 95% or more, of the times.
I never lose my cool with the Cimex.

Using that buffer on 300 rpms is the bomb!

Hovers across the room and in and out of cubicles

the year I owned one of those machines almost made me quit and find a job.
I love how whenever someone asks about Mytee, everyone comments saying "they have a great warranty dept". Why does everyone know about the warranty dept?

Do you all hear complaints about Mytee extractors? The Escape has been out for years and I don’t really really hear anything negative. They are basically just making an Escape with 4 motors instead of 2.

The Aurora generator looks top-notch (going off internet info) and isn’t built by Mytee. The HX looks to be just like what is found on Butlers and other direct drive units. The HX also isn’t built by Mytee.

I hope it’s a success because truckmounts are ridiculously priced.

In the land of "Fruit loops" and "tree huggers"-- I occasional fantasize that such a machine would be a great selling point.
however I would rarely use it in gas mode and choose to use the customers electricity.
It would also be in a hybrid van-- but the best ones aren't available in USA.
But the urge isn't great enough to sink money into this project-- now that I'm running my biz more like a hobbie.
