Congrats... it’s always good to have that little extra oomph to push you over the cliff

I love my SS570. I used it on tile the other day for the first time. Plenty of heat on medium. I haven’t used high yet. Are you getting the undermount tank?

I’m not sure on that yet. I like to use the customer’s water, so probably not.

Unless this is being put into a box van, the Apex 570 sits too high for a submount tank. If you aren't going to carry on board water, make sure the installer shows you where the inlet pressure regulator is, and how to adjust it.

If you hit that with high water pressure (apartment developments as a prime example), the excess pressure can throw it out of adjustment.

Easy fix, but frustrating if you don't know where it is and how to do it.

It’s a little pricey but I wanted to make/use RO/DI water onsite and that pretty much requires a tank. Also wanted the option to work at homes with no power and water.

I have a standard roof Transit, wish I would've gone higher. I'm thinking about just putting in a small fresh water tank between the reels (back doors) and the waste tank, for the occasional job where I can't get to water.
