I have one in every room of the house. And it's everyone's responsibility to empty their own. I set fire to the outhouse long ago. That walk in the middle of the night in the dead of winter was brutal. And sometimes the extension cord from the house would trip the breaker running a ceramic heater.

It was likely from running the heater AND the lectrocob at the same time. What's the amp draw on a lectrocob anyway?

When I worked in construction, there was a truck driver that would deliver 90% of our materials. We all got to know Chad pretty well.
Anyway, he told us a story about when he took his tractor (rig) in for service.... he walked into the warehouse, and was overwhelmed with the smell of outhouse.... one of the mechanics told him to go over to the truck in bay 7, open the door, and look in the sleeper... well, there are a certain minority that thought it was a good idea to cut a hole in the floor of the sleeper, and use it as an ‘outhouse’... the sides of the hole were covered in urine and feces, spackled with toilet paper all over the lower driveshaft, frame, and anything else in the way.... seems there was 3 guys operating the truck, running 24/7, and they would would simply rotate drivers, and only stop when they needed fuel.....
Yuckers...

which brings up the age-old argument, should we be shiting in the customer's house? would they be any more thrilled to find you taking a dump in the back of your van in a fooken bucket?....lol

Learn where all the bathrooms in your cleaning areas, gas stations, mall, community centres, etc. Only if you're really desperate should you use the customers bathroom. Some of the buildings I clean, don't have a bathroom. Even if you don't have to go right now, go before you have to go right now.

I want to get one. My company policy is to never use the customer's bathroom, unless it's an empty house or apartment and my meathead 17yo had to break that rule last week at my customer's house, who is a retired CEO of a bank :madder:!

I'd love to tell him to go out to the truck and close the door. As long as there was a garbage bag in that bucket for him to tie up. He would at least learn his lesson to drop his waste before he goes to work with me, not during.

not uncommon to have customers to tell me where the bathroom is, while they make my coffee.. I can now drink the worst coffee without flinching

but have never used a bathroom except on an empty

Those same great clients also put cold water or sodas out for you and if you asked, they would wipe your ass too..

That’s why you buy the taller vans these days. So you can sit on the waste tank.
