I still PreVac. Don’t always pre spray. Sometimes it’s not the soil load for using the rotary, it’s the type of carpet. Very dense/stiff carpet when wand just rides the surface, I like a rotary that actually agitates/extracts the pile as a whole instead only the tips.

This guy has lived in the house for 5 years when he bought it the carpet was dirty from pets he hired a carpet cleaner that he said made no difference four years later he hired another carpet cleaner again no difference then today with a good pre-vacuum some power burst and the 360i as far as he was concerned it looked like new again

Them rotaries surprise me...

Shocking what they pull out of seemingly clean carpet.

Plus, my dry times rival VLM with no fans even.

So, what’s the benefit of VLM with residential carpet if dry times are similar?

Oh yeah, the person doesn’t have to spend money on a TM.

What is DWAL?
Its an encap. This stuff really cuts though the garbage. Mixes at 1oz per gallon and can be cut even thinner for not so bad carpet. Smells good too and doesn’t make me cough.

Yesterday Tom Conway helped me clean the Asian Buffet. We cleaned one section with the Angry Lemon encap and the rest with HWE. We couldn’t see a difference.

Who cleans dirty carpet with VLM?

Idiots

Like I said, Speed

Also, try Damon Williams Angry Lemon. Amazing stuff.
Lots of hacks do.

Cleaners Connect is full of people who bought an Oreck Orbiter and a vacuum and started their very own carpet cleaning business.

There’s another group whose entire purpose in life is to justify VLM. They think cotton pads do it all. No need to buy a TM... all you’ll do is cause mold and mildew to grow in carpet.

I have all sorts of VLM tools, I’m just smart enough to discern the difference. People look at carpet cleaning money and then search for a way to do it the cheapest way possible and then justify their process to keep themselves from feeling like idiots.

I’ve said it a million times.... do both. Just don’t talk about dry times because you can’t afford a TM.

I’d love to own an excavating company, but I don’t have 300k to do it properly; therefore, I don’t own an excavating company.

Pretty simple concept.

Honestly the rotary is better for entry to mid Truckmounts

I don’t think you need a big unit with a rotary I also don’t see a benefit from my Everest or my direct drive with a rotary

I do think I can clean with Low pressure (200-250) with my rotary all day and get extraordinary results And good dry times

I wouldn’t do anything different as far as setup for the rotary or wand

Well. God is punishing me. I just rolled up to a job. Carpet is filled with incontinent urine. And they want the couch cleaned. Ugh. Somethings just aren’t worth the money.

I picked up a 360I for 250.00 bucks because the wheel was broke. I never wheeled my original one around anyway. Does anyone sell the brush head besides Roto-vac?

A different kind of rotary. New job the lady used a nother company for 10 yrs but phone was gone. She called me so did the best I could, she asked aren't going to scrub the carpet and asked why I didn't bring my equipment into the house. I explained that my truckmount was my method. When the job was finished she said it was even better than the other jobs.Lots of foam and dirty water . Another happy lady. jz.

“The last company used a circle thing that shook the walls... I asked him where the dirt went and he talked about it for 15 minutes. No idea what he was taking about, I just wanted to know where the dirt went.”

Speaking of this the member here sent me these two photos of some damage he created with his rotovac three port non-brush head with a moderately distorted brass jet..

The odds of him being able to fix this sir pretty slim...
