meaning you monthly goal..

A one trucker with no marketing budget and a paid for truck and home will be very content with 10k a month.

While Mr Three trucker with a shop and 3 hungry kids and cousins working for him, 5k a month in Ad Wowrds doesn't sleep until he hits atleast fiddy.

I'd like to take a guess and some of your's but I'd hurt some feelings...

You both are really dialed in...pre Covid Mike is damn close

but this has been a banner year

since March the Monthly Covid boast has been around 7k/month

remains to be seen how that revenue is effected once this subsides... I’m optimistic that step up cleaning continues at 30%minimum

My average goal is $12-$15/month. Once I get my equipment paid off, I'll be comfortable at those numbers. I'm still going alone, but I subbed out $6k last year on the big jobs where I needed 2 truckmounts.

I hate subbing work. I’ll work my eyeballs out first. I’m stubborn that way.
I hate hiring, training, and firing employees more than I do subbing work. I’d rather lose a little more money to have the job done exactly how I’d do it than babysit a meathead pushing the wand

But I know there’ll be a time soon in my business where I’ll Have to hire. I’m juggling the idea of hiring a temp agency. They do all the hiring, background checks, insurance, payroll and firing

When your ready to hire, you want to do it yourself. Your accountant can set things up so it's easy. I worked for temp agencies before and there weren't many people there I'd hire.

As @Cleanworks stated use your accountant. We've hired 6 people this year and the accountant had a new hire packet and everything already made up. They do our payroll with direct deposit. We pay around $150 a month for that service. Out of the 6 I've had to fire 1. I called the accountant and they sent me a stub that day so I was able to issue their last check immediately. By doing the interviews yourself you can get a good scope on their character. As long as they're character is good you can train them on the rest.
