So my Judson TNT is about ready for a new engine.
I have been through 2 Briggs and both a rebuild also.

Currently stock is a 18 hp Vanguard.
Looking at the 22.5 Kohler Command Pro.

Anybody now if the Kohler is significantly larger than the Briggs?

If it's a coupler connection, you need to check the shaft size as well as the physical size of the engine to see if it matches up.

If you're replacing an engine that size...I'd get a Honda. And I'm seeing more Kawasaki engines in the commercial zero turn mowers. I think that's showing some evidence of quality also on those engines

Maybe in the 1950’s
Not today
Today’s focus is a cost control

Swap went good. Needed new mounting holes so engine would sit back for pulley alignment.

Made a mistake on template placement so did 4 practice holes.

Need to source some 1 3/8 in flex pipe so exhaust doesn't mess up me hair.

Are you going to make any modifications to the exhaust? It looks like it's blowing right in your face. Run it through the floor.

1 3/8" flex is tough to find and always leaks or blows by somewhere.
I would go to a muffler shop and have them custom bend a solid tube and pipe it where you want.

Yeah it's blowing my hair right now.

Plan to get solid peace or flex and get lower through control panel on machine.

Pretty sure an old 1.5 wand will work for the pipe. Stainless

I’m glad that’s not blower exhaust blowing crap air on you. Maybe turn it pointing to the left

Oh, I see the separate blower exhaust IS blowing crap air on you. Get another pipe for that also

You are going to smell like exhaust fumes every house you go in, in just the time it takes you to start it up and adjust your chem feed and such. I would look for a different route.
