Just wondering if anyone has a new product for dealing with this, I never really get great results.
Plus scrubbing on my hands and knees really is a pain.

Thanks

Do you see it often enough to want to spend money on equipment or are you just looking for chemistry for the two times a year you run into it?

We just hardly see carbon staining, let alone dust bunnies, mouse turds, BB's, cat litter or belly button lint built up in edges out here..

I use Benefect Atomic Degreaser from Pembertons Cleaning and Restoration. It is very clean and safe to use. Was Developed to remove soot from fire jobs without agitation.
Excellent Supply sells a cool edge brush you can attach a handle to( no bending)for agitation close to the wall.

Tops spotter, gum blaster tool from Interlink....
Spray, let dwell 5 min, Use the gum blaster to remove....
It’s like a 4” internal jet, with a full size wand handle...
Thank me later...

Have that same edger .
Worked very well.
This needs a specific made out of teflon true tool.
With a brush built into it
To provide agitation as well...
Wonder who fabricates with teflon???
Hmmm...
Get to it...

there's dust build up at edges from poor house keeping and there's filtration soil.
the former generally isn't all that tough if you start with a good vac.
The latter can be tough .

Fels, worked better than all the woopty-doo filtration soil removers I've tried

My method is as follows:
Use a cheap paint edge protection (like the ones they use for cutting in when painting).
Put Tops spotter mixed to diluted ratio, in a pint or 2 sized pump up.
Protecting the base board from the spray from the pump up with the paint edge tool, spray the filtration soiling.
Wait 5 min, use the Hydrofrorce/interlink gum blaster tool, wand the affected areas, and dry stroke.

Clean as usual for the rest of the room....

Any of you other IDIOTS that are getting on your hands and knees,

Don’t.

And using a tool that’s designed to clean muffin crumbs between the seats of your wife’s car, don’t bother...

The gum blaster gives you a clean swath of 4” from the wall, NOT 1/4”....

So there MARTY....

My method is to spray the room like normal and edge it with the tool first.
See there moron.
Like normal? And what about the 1.5” line of filtration soiling? I take it you have no fireplaces where you live? Of course a guy needs to prespray the room along with the filtration....

Marty, I respect the fact that you’ve been doing this since the dawn of LazyBoy....

But your wrong.

Ive tried multiple methods, and the one described above, beats anything I’ve tried before....

So, when you run into filtration, do you just soak the baseboard????

Sorry, your BS method doesn’t work outside of the blue collar neighborhood...

I respect the fact that you’re an idiot, but I know what I’m talking about. You see, I don’t offer advice just to see myself posting. My advice is based on actual experience.
