I have a 4 by 8 area rug maybe 6.0 nylon (this is wall to wall carpet with a bound edge, not jute backing but maybe not Action back. I would like to spray the back FIRST with Hydrocide (B.P.) an then Extract with warm water and a hole glide. Allow to dry and then Clean top. Will this or is there a chance this process would de-laminate the backing? Any other suggestions? The rug smells not totally disgusting. CB
