ColorSeal Application
ColorSealing is like anything else - the more you do it, the better you will get. Think of the first day you cleaned carpet compared to now.
We have two methods of application (advanced & beginners)
With our product the following works:
Beginners Version - Assume a 12 x 12 room of 12" tile
Step 1 (Prep Floor) Make sure that there are no waxes or coatings on the floor/grout. The product needs to be applied to the grout
Step 2 (Product Application) Do all lines North/South then East/West. Apply a bead of product to 2/3 grout joints (approx 1/3 the size of the grout line).
Step 3 (Spread Product) Once a bead has been applied to 2/3 lines take the applicator brush and in one motion spread product into grout.
Step 4 (Chamois) Take a damp synthetic chamois (not rag) folded into fourths - Hold flat and wipe over tile.
This is all done before the product is dry. We are wiping the product off the tile while it is still wet.
Every situation varies but the above will work for the most part.
