I ended up with 538 jobs after having the slowest first 3/4 of a year I've ever seen. Gas prices finally dropped enough so that my phone started ringing in October and everybody called at the same time.
This year I plan on cutting back to 2 jobs a day and switching over to sq. ft. pricing like all you high end cleaners. By only doing 2 jobs a day I should have time to do in home estimates. I'm getting too old to run the rat race all day.
Just paid off the new rig so there's a little less financial pressure which makes it easier to take a chance on destroying my business with a big price increase. If people won't pay my new prices I've been working on my "Welcome to Walmart" greeting.
