If you're making it work, more power to you. Love to see some pics. Love to see you upgrade to 8.4 vac motors. Should make a difference. Still, compared to a 18-20/36 TM, I think the vacuum won't be as good, especially at 150 ft and more. Your heat is incredible though. Care to break down the cost of all your components as if you were making them for retail compared to an entry level TM?All of this generator talk for an ETM when a lot of them will just plug into the residence when you are there to clean, so you are using NO GASOLINE when you are cleaning!
Our ETM uses 2 separate 15 amp circuits for the entire system, along with 240,000 BTU LP heater for more heat than you will possibly need. We can easily clean 150' from the van with great vacuum. This system will also disconnect and go inside if need be.
We do have a 10,000 watt onboard genset connected to the van gas tank in case we need it, but we usually don't use it unless we are running dual wands.
YES, DUAL WANDS with an ETM???
When running dual wands the small expense of gasoline to run the genset is way offset by the time it takes to do the job when running dual wands!
100 gallon fresh tank, on-board water softener, Cat pump backup to the 600 PSI PumpTec single wand pressure pump, and the Cat is dual wand pump (1200 PSI@ 3.5 GPM), or it can be used as a back-up.
2 sets of twin 7.2" vacuum systems, each with their own 30 GPM APO!
Been in service for over 10 years with with no problems cleaning almost daily!
aaaand, this is all in a Chevy Astro van!

I am using switched reluctance brushless vac motors rated at 1500 hrs.If you're making it work, more power to you. Love to see some pics. Love to see you upgrade to 8.4 vac motors. That's pretty decent.I am using switched reluctance brushless vac motors rated at 1500 hrs.
They sustain the lift over distance which gives them a leg-up on a lot of the other electro vac motors. Recovery tanks are small which gives an almost instant rise time.
I would say the components would be around $8000 plus, depending on options.
I am available for anyone to come here and see for themselves that what I say is true.
Just give me a heads-up.
