Lots of Celebrities when I had the business in Santa Barbara. The nicest one was Jonathan Winters. He told me about how he was poor as a kid. Asked me if I had a microwave oven... and since I didn't he gave me a brand new one... said they had ordered one too many. That was a big deal to my wife. Not many people had them yet and they were still very expensive. Steve Martin, Kenny Loggins, Michael Douglas... guys with oscar statues...music composer, writers, and others. I remember a elderly woman in Montecito who had nurses at the house full time...very old. Her house had buttons to push for her Driver, Kitchen, Maid Quarters... Pictures of her when she was young and beautiful as a silent film star. Charlie Chaplin had a movie studio in Montecito. He also owned the Montecito Inn... just damaged by the recent mud slides and one of our old accounts. Fess Parker...Daniel Boone on TV and his Red Lion Resort, I use to take care of these 2 giant hand made rugs for the resort...do one dry it and then the other because they were in the lobby. They paid over 50k each for the rugs...1990's. They hired a new Maintenance Manager who told the Owners I charged too much and bought portables and used chemicals from the Janitorial supply, they ruined both rugs. Kenmore Family...Kenmore appliances, Colt... Colt Gun Grand Daughter, Kellogg...owner of the food company. Pro Athletes... lots of other people most would know.
No one famous so far as I know since I started back in Florida. The best account I have here is on Marco Island for a property management company that rents houses to wealthy people. The have 100 houses. Rents start at 5k a week and go way up from there. When they call me I do everything and at top price. Almost like they are trying to find more for me to do and charge them for...including fabric protection. That's my best account. Also a Interior Designer that calls once or twice a month for me to seal new tile, counter
tops and showers at new construction. It's already clean...very good money and no hours on the
Butler.
Long... Sorry Marty.
