Lol ! you old white racist! Landscaper? Simply because someone doesn’t agree with you or your antiquated beliefs.

My horrible people skilled have been doing a great job landing contracts buddy not just sofa cleanings
Around here that stereotype doesn't match. The yard guys I visualized are gruff toothless white guys, with red hats.

If it wasn't for the job they do, with supervision, they wouldn't have a job.

More than a few carpet cleaners I know went into an unlocked house, cleaned all of the carpet, then got a complaint call that no one showed up and cleaned the carpet at the address they should have been at.

Someone had a surprise ( a damp and clean carpet ) when they got home!

I'm trying to imagine what one would do in such a case? They would have no idea who to begin to call to look into it.
I always ask “Mrs. Piffleton I hope? Yes? Thank GOD you are in the right house!”

Start things out with a smile.

Some of us wish we had a lawn to mow.
Ron, your more than welcome to come up to visit, and do some yard work if your that interested in it...
My lawn takes 4.5 hrs to mow with a single Honda mower....
I’ve gotten to a point where I hire out most my yard work now.... 2.5 acres manicured, 2.5 acres of berries to tend to, a 60 X 85 garden, a pool, and a forest to keep up, a wife, 2 children, 2 large dogs, an aging mother, a chronically ill brother, a red headed cat, and a pair of businesses to run....
I’m a pretty busy guy.

White, Hispanic, Black, Native American, Japanese, Chinese, any of these
No, one guy is Estonian, one guy is a retired millworker.... both are Caucasian.... great attitudes... the Estonian is 30 years old, total hippie, has travelled to 35 countries. The millworker is local, started @ the mill @ 18. He’s 60 years old now, looking to supplement his pension. He’s incredibly good at golf... almost went pro.... one of the clubs I clean, his picture is on 3 out of 4 walls ...... yard upkeep costs me around 1K a month....
The stories are priceless though....
I WOUDNT HIRE EITHER GUY IN MY BUSINESS THOUGH...
Neither one has that understanding or killer instinct....

Many posts do take unforeseen directions.

To better understand Mikeysboard, read up on Greek Mythology. In this case, here is a brief summary of the fabled voyage of Jason and the Argonauts:

"Then, Jason sowed the teeth of a dragon into a field. The teeth sprouted into an army of warriors (spartoi). Medea had previously warned Jason of this and told him how to defeat this foe. Before they attacked him, he threw a rock into the crowd. Unable to discover where the rock had come from, the soldiers attacked and defeated one another."

Sometimes a seemingly straightfoward and innocent post is like that rock thrown among the warriors who sprouted from the earth.

Such is the fun, or the annoying quality, of this place at times.

If it gets to be too out of hand "Zeus" (Fred C) throws a lightning bolt and puts an end to it all.

Jim, a grand analogy. Thanks.
And my thanks to those who offered helpful advice, all 3 or 4 of you.
Fred, this thread is so out of hand, I, for all the good it will do, withdraw my question. And if I were a Greek god named Zeus, I’d throw the lightening bolt and shut this thread down. But alas, I’m a carpet cleaner. And yet, very proud to be one :)
