15 inch CRB maintenance

Ok I picked up a 15in Strong or Whittaker used and broke.

Gears are stripped on one brush side. Have those ordered.

My question is do I grease or lube gears after install?

I tried to order gears but apparently steam brite cant seem to make it happen. I ordered them 40 days ago, no response confirmation or anything.

Im going to call them tomorrow and ask for a refund their customer service and website are the worst in the industry.

Its strong for sure. Whittaker sold me the repair parts. They are identical except name.
My machine is just like the Juan's in Mikey/Saiger vids.

Had to go all in on tear down.
Could not get gears off pulley shafts.

Most of the screws had to be tapped out. Inside dust covers I wanted off to clean.

Hope my friend and I can remember how it goes together next week.

getting ready to throw 2 chinese ones in the trash. Cant find parts anywhere, everyone is out of stock. Steambrite still hasnt refunded us and keeps telling me he has been calling and emailing the factory but nobody is there and nobody answers the phone.

Update, The 15 inch is up and running.
This one is Austria brand name Strong.

Bought my parts from Whittaker Company carpet systems. Parts are the same. I'd say they just put the ID plate and stickers on them according to who is ordering from Austria.

Whittaker been around a very long time. Have parts in stock.
Also who Mikey and Saiger did video with. Carpet Cleaner America maybe??

Old Porkbutt showed me his Whittaker GLS way back on my premium pig ride along.

Using it on nursing home common area's tomorrow nite.

Well Dadgum I discovered this Strong Dry TM4 is a Chinese unit. Bummed about that but some parts may fit it.

Guess there was some big drama but China biz is no longer in business I believe.

ACP ask Whittaker if the parts dont fit can you ship them back.

Atleast I only have a few hundred in this unit.

Used last nite and runs like new. Dadgum I shoulda got Juan of deez yrs ago.

When I replaced my gears I slapped a bunch of white lithium grease on them. It's working great. I'll probably get another 6 years of heavy use out of it.
