2" Y

Those that do the 2" y thing how often do you do it? Literally every job? just long hose runs or how do you decide when to and when not to?

Pretty much every time. The first hose off my reel is 50ft, it gets carried inside unrolled towards the door. Then two hoses are 25ft, this frequently is enough to connect, if not I pull off another 50 footer connect the 25s in parallel and Y. No matter how far the run is it feels like a single hose run.
