I have a 20 year old pull down cotton window covering, no real dry rot, been blocked by outside trees from the sun. The is little water damage which has been noted. Few bug stains. Other than that its in pretty good shape.

How would you clean this to freshen it up?

If it doesnt clean up, she is just going to replace all windows. I am testing this one to see the results.

thanks

Haitian Cotton cleaner, Works great it'll also fade those water marks. I'm assuming it's white though or a similar light color :?:
If it is these are great products to use.. Prochem also makes one, If you want to use your truckmount use the shampoo. I like using a portable and the detergent.

Doesn't have to be in direct sunlight to have light damage. Grab an edge between both thumbs and forefingers and twist, if you hear it crack turn the job down.

Otherwise I'd recommend wetting with dry cleaning solvent and vacuuming through a screen.
