Well I just got done at the KTM / Suzuki dealer. Check out the Display on the 1290 Adventure. They also had a nice SuperDuke. The Vstrom is also a nice bike, the the KTM ruins it in comparison.

Just went to the Honda / Kawasaki dealer. Man I love the Africa Twin and the new Goldwing. I would look good eating my Baconator on a Goldwing. The retro Kawi RS 900 is bad ass but feels very small when sitting on it.

Just went to the Yamaha dealer. One of my first “Big” bikes was a 1986 Yamaha FJ 1200. My local Yamaha has one for sale. Talk about having a flood of memories come back to me. I sold the that bike because I got pissed off everytime I had to change the oil. The 4 exhaust pipes needed to be removed to get to the oil plug. They only wanted $2500 for this old FJ. I’m tempted.

Then they had these. Some of these bikes look like something out of a Transformers movie.

I just went to the Harley dealer. I like the new Fat Bob but after sitting on it I’m not so excited anymore. That dang primary sticks out so far and the air filter rubs my leg. That’s a deal breaker for me. But I do like the 114ci engine. Say what you will about Harley’s. They make a pretty bike.

Damon, all those bikes are so tacky! Except the Kawasaki z900.

Road handling is terrible when you want to twist the throttle around a sharp turn, they're overweight if you want to lift the front tire off the ground, and you look like someone who's traveling from Georgia to California with all your camping gear strapped behind you. Unattractive. If you want comfort, just spend a little extra money on a new lazyboy chair. A motorcycle is made for fun...fast fun! And good looks too. If you're doing nothing but traveling, get one of those fugly bikes. If you're cruising around town and going on a 2hr bike ride once a month...get a naked sport bike, or a sexy cruiser like that kawasaki above with a clean exhaust to allow you to lay it down on a turn and make the wife jealous.
