21hp briggs problem

I ran my machine like normal last night, rinsed out the waste tank. Was getting the machine ready to roll to be moved into another truck. Went to fire it up this morning and it seems like it is only running on one cylinder. My concern is that I pull the plug wire and it changes nothing, but it seems to backfire out the carb when I just pull the cord with the key off. When I fire it up, it definately backfires out the carb. Could this just be a coil pack, plug or could it be worse? Any ideas? 208-765-0634

Change the plugs & wires first. Start simple.

Did you happen to get some water on the ignition coil or wires while you were rinsing the waste tank?

I checked all that first, but thanks for the information. It was a stuck valve that bent the push rod.
