13 years as a freshless coit hack, three years as a freshless Butler user, one year as a freshless Judson user and a few months as a freshless 370 and today was only the 2nd time I had to hook to a hot water heater to get water.

Nothing outside, didn't have the correct adapter for their sink.

No issue other than a puddle of water ON TOP of the tank on the out going fitting..

Not the threaded coupler but rather coming up from the tank. You can see water under the white plastic flange..

Not enough to run over but enough for concern..

I told them to keep an eye on it

Where's @Connor ?

I've never had to do that thankfully. Usually I would find a washing machine to hook up to.
I'm surprised you don't have a fresh water tank!

Freshy in his van? Have you seen all the stuff this guy has to have to clean carpet? He has more stuff on board than most Carpet cleaning supply stores....

If he had gone with a Butler he would have had to have a helper just to drive another van to carry his goodies---

Even with one of the smallest profile TMs around there is not a square Centimeter....

And then he has to have the seat remounted in the van so his legs aren't triple folded to reach back to the gas pedal.

Kinda Magic Johnson had a Jeep that had the back seats taken out and the front seat re mounted back there...

Ha! You are likely correct....what was I thinking?!
Just yesterday I was POed because I don't have enough room in my van for stuff without having to pull 3 things out to get to one. Lol.
I'm reaaaallly wanting that darn Cleanco now! My guy is doing some number crunching.....fingers crossed!
I will say though that is one thing I do love about my White Magic, the freshie is under the machine. I wonder why Sapphire doesn't offer that option with the 370?
Although it is such a small footprint of a machine how small would that tank be?! Lol!

I arrived back home yesterday with my Dynachem from Larry & Marie Cobb's. It has a freshwater tank that I definitely wanted. My first job with the machine will be today on a small tile and grout job. Now, instead of parking behind the store and running 100' of garden hose and 150' of the other hoses, I can park in front and run 100' of vac and solution hose only. Also, I'm looking forward to one to two less trips in stair-climbing for apartments that don't have outside faucets.

The one sink adapter that fits 95% is about $5. At Ace, Lowe's or similar hardware store you can also buy all the others for an additional $25.

There are to many 55 and over communities here with no outside water. Most companies won't go into one of them because besides no water they have assigned parking. Makes for one long run of garden hose to the sink. No thanks. I get why some don't bother but it's a huge time saver here.

Because I work alone, I'm just glad for that one less set up/break down step of screwing into water. Especially when its in the single digits.

For inside the house hookup I am a much bigger fan of hooking to the shower. Every house has one, If you leak a little water it goes down the drain. Carrying a little teflon tape to put them back on is easy. Most come off and go back on without tools...

You can hook up to the water heater in my house no problem---It is in the crawl space about 40 feet from the hole into the crawl space... Last time I had to light it I put coveralls on just to go down and relight it.....

I would not get hot water like that. Looks like an old rheem. That white escutcheon is just to dress up the penetration for the 3/4 nipple.
The draft cap isn't right either.
