Our water here is so hard you could almost walk on it, so sometimes if I haven't used it for a couple of days what I think happens is the mineral residue from the water solidifies in the jets. Usually I can clean them out with a torch nozzle cleaner, but not always.

How does one purify their water on the van? I used to have a water softener system but it took up too much room on the truck.

Mark, try douching the felt gasket with silicon dri-lube. It leaves it slick water resistant and not gummy at all.

Vaseline. Works on all kind of tight, dried out things.
