360i pressure and speed

The manual says to run the 360i between 50-300 psi. Of course I didn't read the manual before I started using it and ran it at 450psi. Filled up the waste tank pretty quick. But did an awesome job on a rental property. She was sure she was going to have to replace it for the next tenant.

What are you running it at? And what speed on the dial for residential?

Dave at CRS will let you try it out for a couple of days before you commit on getting it.

Call for the mikeys boarder price. I don't want to advertise it and get into price wars with anyone but the price is a win win for you and us. The things are flying out of here.

Walt i'd run it at the same psi you are now. You will fill the tank up fast. APO's make a huge difference on big jobs. The speed will depend on the floor. You don't want the motor dragging so turn it up on deeper piles and turn it down on shorter naps as it will bounce if it is going to fast. What is the perfect speed setting? I dunno. From my experiance you will be changing it often.

I've got well over a thousand hours of run time on 360 experience. I've tested dry times and cleaning from 150psi to 350 psi many times, while at the same time testing the PH balance of the carpet to make sure all residue is out. I believe that 250psi is the sweet spot. I overlap 50% on all residential jobs with it. At 250psi dry times are good, cleaning is great and no residue left in the carpet. Heat will get to you fast, and my truck can easily keep up with the heat at that flow, however all trucks are different with flow and heat.

Off topic but let me ask..... My 360 should be here tommorrow..

When I set mt pressure gauge at 450. then when someone is keying the wand it drops down about 100 psi or so.. So should i set it before the wand or tool is keyed, or why its being keyed?

If your gauge drops that much on 6 flow you probably need a rebuild.....

Agreed, your pump is not working like it should. Your pressure shows what it is when your wand is keyed open.

250-300 psi for me. You will soon find that cleaning in figure 8 patterns or round and round patterns are the best. Dry times are great.

On residential carpet I crank the speed up all the way. Keep it in the truck for commercial.

only thing more pitiful than that attempt to rile my feathers is the amount of Viagra you must go through each week to pretend that you still got it.
