4.7 CDS Throttle control cables

How difficult is it to install throttle control cables on my HM 4.7 CDS? I really don't want to spend the money to have the dealer do it. I am also installing a new solenoid valve on the side of the mix tank.

Go to any local Fleet-Pride or similar truck store and ask for a vernier throttle cable.

A monkey could Install one.

I don't think that cable would work on my unit. These are very small diameter cables.

did they put the same cable with the 2 pods on the 4.7 like they did the 4.8 ????

Yes, sorry for the wait on the answer. My 4.7 uses the 2 pods with a cable for each one.

I use to do mine..just pay close attention to how it is set up...the pods should already be set so if you set the new cables up just like it is you should be OK..If it gets off some then you should be able to tweak it with the pods.....
