405 heat exchanger

Does anyone know where to get a heat exchanger for a 405? Mine is plugged up.

Which one?

1st stage: Graham Heliflow

2nd stage: stainless exhaust hx

3rd stage: radiator style blower exhaust hx

You really only need the 1st one.

Just bypass it by adding a 3/8 compression nipple between the hoses going into each end of the "bad" exchanger....(which is nearly indestructible)

Or you could use this heat exchanger. It’s originally one from my blueline TM2 that used engine coolant. But it is stainless steel fin tubed inside and if the holes were cut big enough for the blower’s exhaust, it’d work just fine.

It might fit if you lay it on it’s side in the port where your round one goes

The reason I pulled it out is because it leaked antifreeze around the stainless steel tubes. It’d be a perfect exhaust heat exchanger. If you have some shop skills and want it, just pay shipping.

Does anyone know where to get a heat exchanger for a 405? Mine is plugged up.

How is it plugged? No water flow? Or no exhaust? Have you tried reversing the flow back? Soak it in some descaler.
