Everyone, I am beginning to work on sales brochures and literature. Would any of you be willing to post what you use or even send me a sample? I am trying to get it right the first time and need ideas.

This is a guy on youtube I bookmarked named Roger Lloyd. I don't know anything about him except he has prepared some pretty good stuff he presents to Realtors and Residential Clients etc. I think he might sell something but I'm just saying there is plenty in this video to get you thinking about your own business and whatever you are interested in presenting. Hope there is something here that might be of help.

Hate his company name but like some of his pieces. The carpet brochure it way too wordy. Needs balanced with graphics.
He needs to spend a little more and buy heavier stock too. Floppy pieces says cheap to me. : (

His name and thickness of printed stock aside... and I agree. This isn't what I would do but... he's trying and he's thinking...and he's right about a lot of things. He also has other videos but since Old Coast was asking for ideas...well there you go...

Its just a pet peeve. Someone spends countless hours on design, prints full color and then saves a few pennies on printing. It negates everything they were trying to achieve.
He has a lot more right than wrong.
