H did a nice job. I wonder if when new it has all that anti-seize on it. I had a spare for my last machine which I never used. I think I'll do like Lee and buy a spare for this one. Maybe I'll get lucky and never need it. I've never had a general before, only hypro and cat. The hypro was a replaced more than I can remember but that cat truely had 9 lives. In fairness to the hypro I ran an acid rinse through it and it destroyed it. The shaft nut would fall off and the pump would implode.

Thank you Mikey's board I had to replace my General T-9951 pump on my Cobb solid gold unit. I checked as much as I could for the best answer. The info here on the board was right on. I purchased a new unit from Kleen rite corp for the best price. Sorry Larry the savings was worth the purchase. The pump is new so I in great shape to clean a lot of carpets, jz.
