About IPS sprayers again

Does anyone know if the battery issues have been resolved? Mine conked out early on and will not take a full charge. Yesterday the charger jammed up and when I pulled the battery out, it bent the charging prongs backwards.

Love the sprayer, but those lousy batteries are worse than bad, they are dangerous.

never even considered buying one when I saw what type of battery they were putting in.. why would you not make that tool with a Li Ion? doesnt make sense

1. It is a different batch of new batteries, same tech tho, that's why 3 month delay as they were held up in customs.

2. A ryobi 18 volt battery fits with little mod. And with additional mod I believe you can even it to click in. This mod however will not allow stock 12 volts to click in however.

HD sell 102 battery and charger for 59$. And they do sell the newer style that has the battery meter build in

After research, the ryobi battery has circuitry to have shut down before over draining(DOA) and over heat shut down (before bursting into flames)

The concern, from research of mine, is not the motor, however the variable trigger, in handling the 18v

The out put differenc is significant.

Had the WORX in my hand on a job the other day. Priming is a tiny chore, though you could shorten the hose length with ease. The rotary nozzle only shoots horizontal as you swing the wand. I countered that by using a wide fan pressure washer tip and rotating the tip easily. Overall I found it really well built. Has high/low power switch within reach of yer thumb. The short and longer extension of the wand was a nice feature. It's on my short list of gotta have.

The WORX is a sturdy machine.
The IPS puts out a finer, less pulsating spray. I wonder if the WORX would do better with a smaller tip.

That multi tip contraption can be replaced with a single Tjet assembly

Or taking a fine screwdriver and turning the jet as @encapman told me..

Since I got my battery multi-sprayer for protection, I haven't used my Worx in a while.. My Omnipro is still my go-to sprayer for prespray and deodorizers...

Just turn it with a tiny screwdriver. But my original ips is still going strong. Bought a second, the worx on the other hand lasted a week.

I wonder if I could adapt a quick connect to the IPS spray tip and use it on the WORX? Still would not be comfortable shooting anything solvent based, though.
