Adding Vacs

Hey guys, I have a pathfinder portable from jon don. The thing is great except it only has 1 7.2 inch 3 stage vac. I want to add another vac motor or two but there isnt much room. I though about getting another motor and plumbing it into the plastic lid that screws on top of the waste tank. That would put the two vacs parallel obviously. Is this a good setup? Would i be better off finding a way to run them in series? I basically want some more suction and if possible, to run more than 25 feet of hose. 50 feet if possible. Thanks alot, Ant

Also do the two motors have to be identical?

A small #116765 3-stage vac will work best.

That machine is difficult to add vacs to.

Parallel will be easier.

Hey Larry, just out of curiosity, how come a smaller vac? i am trying to figure out the whole lift vs. cfm thing. Would one small vac pick up on aspects that the larger vac is missing? just curious. Thanks again for your help!
