Adust-a-Glide brush for 175 rotary

Anybody ever use one and have comments?

I think I did. I got it from powr flite. Smooth plastic in the middle with bristles on the outside. It was so gentle that it wouldn't clean anything.

Brian, Were you able to adjust the height of the plastic center. Wouldn't this allow for more or less pressure on the brush?

I also got one of those things from P-Flite, only use it to scrub rugs so I have it on the highest setting and it works fine.

The bristles are just too soft. If I am going to pull out the scrubber it is for restoration. Most of the guys who prefer pads over brushes have never had the right stiff brush. A good brush will need to be broken in by running on concrete for 30-60 minutes to break in. You can get better results just running a damp bonnet than the adjust a glide. The adjust a glide might be good for delicate rugs but not for scrubbing traffic lanes.

Brian, Will my 1 horse 175 run a damp bonnet? Are you aware that these brushes can be purchased with .018 or .025 brushes.

I agree with Brian.

All the ones I've seen are way too soft nylon bristle.

We like .028 nylon as a minimum.

I tried the Stiff version a few times.

It wouldn't move.

It just dug in and caused a couple of blackouts.
