Interior designer office flooded from suit next door
It's very high being a designer and I told them in my opinion it was shot but I was asked to try

This is after 3 days of blowers

Anything else I can try to lighten the water stain?

It's 6 months old and the office is crammed big time
They have no desire to replace unless last resort

If it were us I would not use HWE.
We would probably use Prochem's Yellow RX with a trace of Fine Fabric Shampoo for extra lubrication and see where you applied it. Spray the Yellow RX let it sit a few minutes and bonnet it off with OP machine or 175.

Speed dry, repeat if needed.

From the looks its doubtful it is completely removable.

How many square feet Dave?

Do a couple of test areas with a browning treatment that contains sodium bisulfite, as well as hydrogen peroxide starting at 3% (remember if you go over 3%, you are starting to weaken the jute. You might need to go over 3%....but you should disclose that to the customer).

If you have an encap product with peroxide in it (there are a couple provided here by our supporters at Bridgepoint and Excellent Supply ) that MIGHT work, but that problem looks too bad to be solved that easily. But its worth a test area. Another thought (if 3% peroxide seems to work) is a light low moisture cleaning with Bridgepoint OxyBuffCotton Shampoo, which contains sodium percarbonate.

There might be some problems with the sodium bisulfite odor depending on how much needs to be applied, so even if your small test area works, take that into consideration as well.

It's along a wall in waves the length of the wall
Prob 30' long or so

She's a dish to deal with but has stated that she will do anything to not have to replace it but at this point it's trash so I was told to do anything I wanted to in a effort to get lucky

I'm not thinking stacking a bunch of stuff is smart so I would really love a few expert Hail Marys to try on different areas

Thanks for the ideas so far

Dave I have successfully removed it by treating the entire rug with RX for browning. It was an area rug that got half wet from an a/c leak. It turned out fine. I didn't dry it first I just treated the whole thing and let Mother Nature take its course. I have done it more than once and sometimes it doesn't work. Maybe something to do with what was in the water.

I never add any water I just treat the entire rug. It has enough water in it. If you've never used it before the stuff really messes with your nose. I hold my breath. I would not use it in an occupied room. The last rug I did that came out was completely dry by the time I got to it. I rarely do it anymore on rugs because off the rubber backing. It's gonna shrink some and the rubber causes it to get waves.

One other thing, I'm not sure it will lighten. It seems to me that the rest just gets evenly dark. I've never taken any pictures but they alway seemed darker to me.

Dave ; I would apply it @ 2 oz./quart hot water.

Just spray it and check results as it drys.

Should see the effect in 10 minutes or so.
