Which one of these idiots will be the first to figure out that they NEED to divide the damn Vacuum hose reel if you're gonna really design the trucks for 2.5 hose usage.

2/3rd's for the 2.5 and 1/3rd for the 2".

I NEED to be able to take off one size and not the other.

Patent that feature and watch the other company squirm.

I was thinking the same thing, Mike. How was I going to store the 2.5"? Would it be that difficult to modify it? My Vortex is being built right now, perhaps I should see if they could do that.

How much room does a couple of lengths of 2.5 take up?

I run a small 200' reel in my Legend set up but find I never go over 3 lengths so it's never full.

Would that same reel hold say 1x 2" and 2x 2.5" lengths?

It seems to average 3:2, that is two sections of the 2.5 = 3 sections of the 2".

And for GAWDS sake don't tell BLUEline you want a split reel, if they get one more guy coming to them with my custom suggestions, I'm sure to find my head on a stake.

Oh, in the end they will thank you for helping to make it better. Free R&D and product improvement, what could be better?

I will need some 2.5 real soon. Help me out!

Another reel? That seems like added effort. With a split reel you could wind up two hoses at once.

Thanks, Randy. We just finalized the details on the wrap, now the wait til it's all done. Shouldn't take too much longer.

Call Kevin or Chuck at Blueline. 1-928-445-0167

They are the ones you need to talk to. Tell them what you want and how you want it. It will cost and it will push your pick up date back but they can do anything you want.

Talk to them not a salesman.

Congrates on the big truck you will love it!!!!

Yes, the HAT. I got a couple of extra on it like APO, shelves, etc. but pretty standard.

I'll be driving it up. Just waiting to hear that it's done.

You'll be one of the first I want to show to.

youre right Greenie on the ratio

I have 250 of 2.5" and 100 of 2" on the reel. 150 and 100 hanging up.

I think I am going to take my 2" off the reel all together and just hang it to carry into the job rolled up. Seems easier and neater. Plus my 2" whip is always coming apart when I wind it up.
