Air movers and stain guard

i have been wanting to put air movers in the rooms after I have cleaned them. But I am wondering if that will interfere with the application of stain guard since the bottles say to apply to freshly cleaned damp carpet, if dry carpet you have to use 2x as much product. Am I over thinking this or would the air movers dry the carpet out too much and the stain guard be too little in some areas and too much in other areas?

Yes, I think you could dry for a while before you put down protector. You and I live where we have a lot of moisture in the air and if you apply the protector to soon it won't dry for H O U R S.

Problem with that is by the time I have applied the stain guard there is only 15 min. Of the appointment left and barely worth putting them down.

Shake a leg.... Drink some of that Saiger crack and you too can clean for 12 hours non-stop.....



I assume you work by yourself... I'd do as Mikey mentioned... Minus well have your protector ready outside the room you just completed... Spray it down, rake it in, place fan, move on to the next area...

Or get a helper to move faster...

Um NO! Saiger can say it's safe all he wants but I am not drinking his kool aid.
I may have to try that method, not sure if it will frustrate me or not.

Why apply more water . . .

when you are trying to dry the carpet . . .

Use a solvent-based fluorochemical and avoid the extra fans altogether . . .

Same visit... It's a solvent based protector... I think it smells awesome... Just don't spray near an open flame...

Get the Devasator wand. You won't need air movers

and that's all caused by solvent flour-chemicals. Probably just half baked.

We've applied protector both ways (right after each room and at the end of the job). It seems to work either way. We have a stack of the dripods that get rotated per room. Even if they go for just a few minutes, they work well. We used to use solvent based protector, but it made everything way too slippery if the client stepped from the treated carpet onto his vinyl or wood flooring. We work for a lot of seniors and didn't want anyone to get hurt. Maybe the current formulas work better for that? (We changed to water-based over 20 years ago). I still prefer the solvent base protector on furniture to keep everything as dry as possible.
