It does shake the carpet really well--they showed me it's the way the agitator/brush bar is designed off balance so that it vibrates more as it spins. Too heavy and awkward for me--ditched it decades ago.

If the Royals didn't get so freaking loud, I'd still be using the 3rd one I bought last year. It's currently sitting on my pile of scrap metal in my back yard

I love my Kirby Heritage II. Got it off ebay refurbished for 100 bucks. I use a Pro Team for the nice jobs but for rat nasty I take a REAL vacuum off the van. A Kirby. It's a powerful vacuum !!!

Believe it or not, I have an 18 yr. old working for me that owns one. He asked if he could bring it and use it, he loves it. Has the attachments and all. It’s not practical for what we do, but time is not an issue for his position.
It’s the craziest thing to watch. I just walk off.

I ordered a new proteam the other day. Probably only use it on commercial jobs. Looking forward to trying it.

I sold filter queens for a living at one time. Kirbys remind me of the dirty kid on charlie Brown.

Proteams are what we use most. The down side to em is they’re pretty easy to clog and not as easy as to unclog as Clarkes.
I agree. Kirby doesn't clog as easy as a ProTeam. Kirby built like a TANK and POWERFUL !!! Great for rat nasty.

Kirby's edge like an elephant uses a toilet. An edging tool is a must.

I'm liking my Shark. I just wish it had a bigger head and longer cord like on my ProTeam. I'll probably be going back to my proteam after I get it repaired.

The Kirb is the only vac that can withstand my goobers for more than 6 months.

New ones are really available for under $100 on Craig's and its a very unique home that the edges don't get clean enough due to the design.

If we were section 8 or piss hacks maybe we'd use a Pissell

I soak them down and use the crb to ball it all up and cuff it before wanding glideless.

My allergies are really messing my head up.
