This Travertine install was a botch job in almost every way but when the wood floor installer knocked his sander into the filled tile, this was his "I also work with natural stone type fix...
1s step was to remove the chunks of tile and while grout with a dremel
and next was to fix with Tenax bran poly resin and sand with 220 and 500 grit wet sand paper.
The floor is loaded with fill this size and color all over so it doesn't stand out as much as you'd think...
I recommended that the install a wood T bar transition strip to protect both edges.
and no the damage was not caused by myself dragging a sofa over it or my garage door falling on it, so F you people.
