For the trashed rentals with hand-me-down funeral home carpet

Sorry for the ugliness on the metal. I've been slacking on polishing it

Left mine at home to make room for my Cimex

We use their Sanitaire..

Which had a broken belt

And the one spare snapped in two seconds..

Belts I use last days of hard use. Have 10 belts from Amazon that are less than a dollar each. Keep 2 spare on the handle since you told me about issues with bad belts. It will be my commercial vacuum with magnet bar. Likely get the hogjowl lift away for residential. I always carry 2 vacuums plus the canister Hoover portapower for upholstery and commercial edging. I'm good.

When I bought my Royal, I looked for a magnet bar, and couldn't find one worth bolting on. So, in the meantime (last 6years) I've been making sure the stupid hair pins are picked up.

I wish I had a counter-rotating brush machine but I cannot justify its cost. Until I can, the Oreck will have to do -

Best vac I've used

Lightweight so you will actually pull it out of truck,

Used those royal sherman tanks back in the 90s. Heavy as hell

Those cloth shake out bags spit more dust back into the air than they pick up

Maybe you should go into the garbage business, cause that Royal is trash

my aging Proteam is glitching on me. Position switches in two different places and several other parts. The housing for the roller is wearing in several spots (least of which is the standoffs for the screws). Someone mentioned edging. Dang I do like the quickdraw action for edging with my Proteam's. Fast and productive. And the Royal has always caught my curiosity. So hell, I'm treating myself to both. Can't beat Jon-Dons pricing. New 12" Proteam and this 14" Royal. I'm worth it.

I've never used the shakeout bags. I'd hate the vacuum too if I had to shake out the junk in the trunk

Not me...I just throw my paper bag away. I love my fugly royal

I've got the exact same setup with vacuums. I use my proteam for the pretty jobs and my royal for the neglected rat nasty carpet

Love my Proteam-Proforce. But warning, It does not handle jumping your carpet cleaning van very well.
