I have a customer who has ceramic tile in their kitchen that I cleaned 2-3 years ago. They are ready to get it cleaned again but this time they are interested in some kind of anti-slip treatment, in their words they are getting older and they want to do anything they can to prevent an accident.

Any suggestions on a product to use? Does it work on ceramic or only porous tiles? Where do I get it? How is it applied? How much is the going rate to apply it?

Your local floor contractor supplier (for installers) can get this stuff. Florida tile is a place over in PC that may carry something. In Tallahassee there is Shoreline. We get most of our stuff for our flooring store in Tallahassee so I'm not too certain of places over there. Possibly Sellers tile in PC but I'm not sure if they still have a store there.

Surfacesafetysolutions.com, slipgrip.com. Both have very good products and are fairly easy to apply. $1-$5 sf is what I get.
