ICS & Cleanfax are the only ones I know of... I think there may be a restoration mag too.

Cleaning and Restoration is the RIA (former ASCR) publication. Great articles, wins awards. A lot of their articles end up being part of various guru's presentations.

You can see parts of some articles here:http://www.ascr.org/content/cr-magazine but you have to subscribe or become a member to get the rest.

Every once in a while, the Harvard Business Review has some good marketing articles in it. It's good to read for business strategy.

Penthouse Forum is about as good as it gets.

Please ignore Mikey P at this point. These type of comments are a hazing ritual to see if you can take this place or not. Get him on a serious day and he's going to be of great help to you in your new business.

Today is not one of those days.

Read the Kiplinger Report for business and economic trends

Didn't you mean Playgirl with the gay pride flag you had on the site header Mikey?

Absolutely disgusting and uncalled for. I know a few veterans that wouldn't mind meeting you and showing you how to respect the fine men and women in our armed services. I hope you choke on you lovers wand you POS!

And to the advertisers of this site..... You should be ashamed to crawl in the bed with such low life's!

Good Day... Now you can go ahead and delete my account and post (which i know you will, the post anyway) because this site make me sick to my stomach.

What goes around comes around and your time for an a$$ beating is way past due!

Sorry if I offended anyone here other than your fearless shiot talking admin but this freaking guy has got to get a life. When you guys want to start gaining some real knowledge rather than hearing or seeing this BS all the time you are welcome at T M F.

I agree with the Great Oz, Cleaning and Restoration is a magazine worth paying for.

It covers Carpet Cleaning, Rugs, Upholstery, Fire & Water, Mold and Air Duct cleaning and market and finance too.

For those that don't want or can't afford RIA membership, you can just subscribe to the magazine.

$69.00 a year for nonmember or $49.00 a year for 2-years

Is it just me or are the cleanfax articles worthless? They seem to have just enough information to outline a subject without much useful information. Examples: Sub-zero temperature can freeze truckmounts, Commercial carpet cleaning can be profitable.

I agree with Jason, My grandpa spilt blood taking the island that flag raising was mocking. Sometimes I feel like I'm sifting through the crap to find a nugget everyonce in a while on this board.

I second Bobs suggestion, they push franchises a little too much other then that a great mag!

I think Jason is wailing too much.
Yes, you do have to sift through sometimes, but the knowledge is here, sometimes a little unrefined, but very present.
I used to read CLeanfax and ICS but many of their articles turned out to be nothing more than a marketing piece for a cleaning method or specific chem line. Reading one the other day about VLM, turned out to be a page long commercial for HOST. A few nuggets of useful info, but that was in the first couple of paragraphs. So, I would look outside the industry.

so did my father, Ryan
he was in the invasion and taking of Iwo with the 5th Marine Division .
My uncle was also a WWII combat vet (Army) and saw lots of action in MacArthur's Island taking campaign

I didn't see the parody ...apparently it didn't stay up long and was was removed.
Sometimes my friend Mike doesn't think of big picture with his humor/antics
