I don't know enough on how good (high) are the twist and density numbers.
Nylon 6.6. though, is a hardy durable fiber.

Bring it to the fest so we can check its soil and stain retardency rating. If it makes it through that week you got yourself some kickbutt stuff that will outlast the next mars mission.

That is very good carpet and should last and look good for 15-20 years. Density of 3,523 is very, very good. Density of 2,500 or more is minimum for 15 year carpet. Twists is close to 7 which is good, but 7 would be better. Twist less than 4 not as good. 6.6 nylon is good.


Face weight should be well over 50 oz

I bought top end when we built our current home and I don't regret doing so. I'm a cheap dude but I bought cheap at my last house and it just didn't hold up as well as the carpet it replaced.

We've been here 6-years and it has done really well. Only the living room shows any signs of use and we use it like a family room. The family room gets infrequent use and is still pristine. :oldrolleyes:
