ever hooked a backpack vacuum to a CRB?

No I can't say I have done that. You can crb then vacuum or use a pile lifter.

At the show they were showing the new renovators with the vacuum port and plug in but nobody demonstrated it. I'd like to see if it works.

I could see some airborne dust being gathered but not the clumplumps of wet fibers and grit

yep, lot of chamber to put a vacuum on. Renovate/pile lift and then vacuum is certainly an option, even better if we could easily get paid for it. Experimenting with a backpack lately, Sidewinder attachment nozzle for edges and electric power head. More and more real estate jobs, the backpack is changing my game but I need deeper/faster.

I used my crb on a job before coming down to Vegas. It was large enough that when I finished, the first part was dry already, so I took my vacuum and vacuumed over it. It adds another step but the carpets looked great. Better than when I steam them.
