I remember Cliff Zlotnik from Unsmoke doing a demo with a drill he had sprayed with his chemical. He then dipped the drill running into a bucket of water and it ran under water.

I think he called it UNwet?

Don't know if its even in his line anymore?

NeverWet teamed up with Rustoleum. Rustoleum is owned by the same investment group that owns Legends Brands / Sapphire Scientific. I buy a lot of white tennis shoes, and all the protectants (sans maxim fine fabric - excellent on shoes) I've used have failed.

I'm interested in this product but I'd like to know if there is any toxicity in the treatment.

It also dissolves with any detergents and peels off of plastic, so it's not fool-proof yet.

Interesting product.

It is a newer type of silicone.

Water-repellency will be good.

Generally oil-repellency will poor.

It is not recommended for sofa fabrics.

Base coat leaves a stiff hand AND white haze,

and comes off nylon with a detergent.
