Do you use the Rotovac CFX machine??

Do you use the Evolution 1.5" wand??

Can the Evolution 1.5" wand be used effectively using faucet pressure (70psi) with the Rotovac CFX??

Just working on something & I'd like some answers before I commit.

Thanks in advance.

I have the Evolution two jet 1.5 inch wand....I won it with a larger portable...

I added a GreenGlide to it...and that helped....

but otherwise, I feel there are better wands....

The other questions I cannot help with....

We have one we use with the portable. The tech's haven't complained, since its a package but I would.
Its too light, a toy for a little boy.

The complain more about needed to use a portable than the wand.

With just tap pressure, you are going to be using that as mainly a rinsing device. Like Oz says, larger jet size, minimum should be a 6 flow. Experiment with some different sizes until you find one that works for you.

Thanks for the replies.

What I neglected to mention was that this is a S.R. (Semi Retirement) project.

SMALL AREAS ONLY such as motor homes, RV's, Caravans & ONLY one room apartments.

Any that need extra attention can be scrubbed with either my Oreck or 360i prior to extraction.

Oh yeah, I'm also looking at having one shortened by 4" to accommodate my weight for height disadvantage.

CARPET CLEANING, as such, will not be the core focus of this project, & hopefully, would be phased out as other ideas gain momentum.

This would leave me with NOT CLEANING carpet into the future.

Thanks again.

Our old single jet 9508 wand with a 100 psi pump was decent. It would piss out the water.:very_drunk:. Never used a evolution wand. I'm also interested in this idea of water pressure. I know an outside spiket with out a pressure regulator can hit 60-100 psi some are over a 100. But that would be not hooking up to a heat source.
