been trying these minimus footwear for a few weeks. Not bad. I had achy tired feet for the last two years. My foot arches needed to be stretch and stretched to get a good feeling of comfort. Tried everything from all sorts of foot massagers at home to rubbing, etc etc. thought it was the aging process catching up. Tried changing to all sorts of different footwear. The more cushion the worst it became. Heard about these minimus footwear and thought to give it a try. Hardly no padding. The total opposite of what foot doctors recommend.
Within two days of wearing these minimus shoes, no more achy feet. AMAZING I tell you. The idea is the less cushion in the shoe, the more the muscles in your feet are forced to be used thus strengthening your feet, ankles and all the nerve point within your feet. In my case, my lower back feels better as well.
The more cushion in your shoes, the less your feet are able to maximize the muscles within your feet.
It’s AMAZING I tell you! It’s not for everyone I suppose but sure darn worked for me!
Now I can’t wait to get home to slip off the work shoes and slip on the minimus sandles.
Just ordered minimus shoes from new balance and can’t wait to try them.
Anyone wearing minimus shoes for work? If so, which brand?
